“PERSEUS Specialty Food Products” was created from the absorption of “Zootechniki Hellas”, founded in 1984 having as exclusive business activity the production and promotion of animal feed products.
In 1993, company’s factory was built at Zevgolatio, Korinthia (pellet unit) and one year later the company entered the sector of aquaculture as fish feed supplier, fact that helped a lot the company’s further development. During period 1999-2000 company founded and set up a new ultramodern fish feed production unit using extrusion technology, having as prime target the complete cover of constantly increasing demand.
PERSEUS was and continues to be, one of the first companies being intensively involved in the fish feed development, as well as in production methods of “new fish species” (as called sheep head sea bream, pagrus, pandora etc). Taking advantage of know-how, high level scientific personnel (research, development, advisory services to the customers before and after sales) and modern productive installations, continues the effort daily always aiming at a better share in the local market and a gradual penetration to the markets abroad.
